Since IBC offers pure online learning this year, the Student Affairs headed by Dean Rev. Dr. Jaime Pante utilize technology in nurturing the spiritual life of the students. These ministries are performed and monitored regularly.

ONLINE MINISTRIES FOR SPIRITUAL NURTURING

(Academic Year 2022-2023)

IBC provides inspiring Online Ministries. These Online Ministries are designed for the spiritual nurturing of the entire IBC Community. Here are the online ministries:

POSTING OF ONLINE DAILY DEVOTION VIA FACEBOOK (Its objective is to strengthen the faith of the IBC community and advance the Kingdom of God by using social media.)
ONLINE CHAPEL SERVICE (This activity aims to nurture the spiritual life of the IBC community. It is done twice a month.)
ONLINE I-CARE PROGRAM (It aims to develop the camaraderie and fellowship of the IBC community. It also strengthens unity and love with one another.)

IBC provides Google Forms to monitor the ministries of the students. Every 15^th day of the month, each student is required to submit his or her monitoring report. Here are the highpoints of the monitoring report:

Spiritual Nurturing Program (in Traditional Face-to-Face Class)

Varied opportunities are given to the students both for their mental and spiritual enrichment. IBC believes that the cultivation of one’s relationship with the LORD is vital in the training of God’s workers. The following activities are designed for the students’ spiritual nourishment:

A. PRAYER AND DEVOTION

Students are encouraged to spend time in personal/group prayer and daily devotions. All students are required to have separate notebooks for personal quiet time.

B. I-CARE (IBC-Commitment Accountability Relationship Enrichment)

I-CARE groups are designed for spiritual nurturing, mentoring, and counseling. Each student must be a member of a care group (3-5 students per group). Each group will be handled and mentored by either a school administrator or a teacher. I-CARE groups will meet once a week.

C. CHAPEL SERVICE

Attendance: All students are required to attend chapel services unless excused by the Dean. This is part of the students’ training while staying at the IBC and should not be taken lightly.
Attitude: Have an attitude of quietness, reverence, and teachable spirit as everyone listens to the Word of God. Please refrain from talking and making distractions during this period.
Promptness: Each student is required to attend chapel services on time. Attendance and promptness will be checked by the dorm monitors.

D. OIKOS, THANKSGIVING NIGHT, COMMUNAL PRAYER

This is intended to lead the students to minister to each other, listen to other's experiences, and to pray for one another.

Field Education / Christian Service

Field Education/Christian Service is the practical application of knowledge/theories & learning experiences acquired from the school.

Student Assistant

All students are required to render their three-hour service and assistance to the College.

ONLINE GUIDANCE PROGRAM

IBC has an encouraging Online Guidance Program for the IBC community. The said Online Guidance Program is designed to cater to the emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of the counselees, amidst the COVID 19 Pandemic. The Guidance Counselor has constant communication with the students, faculty, and staff. She holds and facilitates Group Session and Individual Counseling. As the need arises, she also processes the counselees who are experiencing alarming or disturbing struggles and conflicts.
