ONLINE REGISTRATION

IBC utilizes the Google Docs for Online Registration, which is now the current trend apps for enrollment nationwide. Google Docs is a word processor included as part of a free, web-based software office suite offered by Google within its Google Drive service.

How to register online? Applicants will just click the link to be provided by the school.

After clicking the link, the applicants will fill up the information needed for registration and will submit it directly to this site. From time to time, the School Registrar will monitor and process the registration.

 

ONLINE ENROLLMENT

IBC provides a system for online advisement and enrollment. Here are the guidelines for enrollment:

Step 1: Access link provided for registration.

Step 2: Membership to IBC Group Page.

Step 3: Completion of admission forms.

Step 4: Payment process.

Step 5: Proof of payment.

Step 6: Validation of payment.

Step 7: Confirmation of enrollment.

1. The admission policy of the school is in compliance with the admission standard set by ATESEA.

A. IBC has an admission and retention policy that is also based on the CHED requirement. 

Admission & Retention Policy

Eligibility

Any student who graduates from the Secondary Level of Education of the Department of Education is eligible for admission.

Policy

In recognition of the Constitutional guarantee of institutional academic freedom, admission is open to all students not otherwise disqualified by law or by policies and rules of the Commission on Higher Education and of IBC.

Except in cases of academic delinquency; violation of rules and regulations of IBC; failure to settle due to tuition and other school fees, and other obligations; sickness or disease that would prevent the student to handle the normal pressures of schoolwork or his continued presence thereat would be deleterious to other members of the academic community; and the closure of the program by IBC, or the closure of IBC itself, a student who qualifies for enrollment shall qualify to stay for the entire period for which he or she is expected to complete his/her program of study in IBC, without prejudice to his/her right to transfer to IBC within the prescribed period.

B. IBC has entrance requirements

Requirements

  • The applicant must fill-up the IBC Application Form for Admission
  • The applicant must submit High School Form 138 and Form 137/Transcript of Record
  • The applicant must submit three (3) Character References:
  1. Local Church Pastor
  2. Official Board Chairman of the Church
  3. Parents/Guardian/Spouse
  • The applicant must submit a Letter of Recommendation from the District Superintendent
  • The applicant must submit a Personal Testimony of Conversion & God’s Call to Ministry
  • The applicant must submit a Statement of Financial Support (duly signed by the sponsors)
  • The applicant must pass the written entrance examination 
  • The applicants must pass a series of interviews of the evaluators:
  1. Local - Deaconess, Chairman of the Board, and Pastor
  2. District- District Superintendent, Head of the Council of the Ordained Ministers, and CHR Head
  3. IBC - Head of the Department of the Ordained Ministers, CHR Head, and DOSA
  • The applicant must submit the original copy of the Birth Certificate (NSO/PSA)
  • The applicant must submit a Medical Certificate

Registration

  • All students must enroll in the scheduled period for registration.
  • No student may register after the second (2nd) week of regular classes.

C. The admission and retention policies are published in the official school catalog, student handbook, and brochure of the school which is distributed to all IEMELIF churches displayed, and kept in the school.

2. The school is careful in screening applicants before admission.

A. IBC has a set of criteria in screening student-applicants. 

The basic references of the screening officers are:

  1. Three (3) Character references submitted in the office by the Local Church Pastor, Official Board Chairman of the Church, and Parents/Guardian/Spouse.
  2. Personal Testimony of Conversion & God’s Call to Ministry.

B. The set of criteria by IBC in screening student-applicants conforms with the program/degree he/she is applying for. And because the course to be enrolled by the applicant is Bachelor of Theology, major in Pastoral Studies or Christian Education, it is significant to scrutinize the real intention and character of the applicant, his/her Personal Testimony of Conversion & God’s Call to Ministry. 

C. The screening of student applicants is done by qualified persons.

As required, the applicant must pass a series of interviews by the following evaluators, especially when the applicant is a IEMELIF Church member.

  1. Local Church - Deaconess, Chairman of the Board and Resident Pastor
  2. District- District Superintendent, Head of the Council of the Ordained Ministers and Church Human Resources Head
  3. IBC - Dean of Student Affairs (DOSA), Head of the Department of the Ordained Ministers and Church Human Resources (CHR) Department of the IEMELIF Church.

3. The school is free to select or reject students.

A. The Admission and Retention Committee is composed of the Registrar, Dean of Academic Affairs and Dean of Student Affairs, given the freedom to accept or not the student-applicants.

B. IBC conducts orientation on the admission and retention requirements scheduled before the Regular classes start. All students, especially the new students are required to attend the said orientation. IBC provides a copy of the school handbook which highlights the admission and retention requirements.

C. The Admission and Retention Committee members of IBC are fully aware of their functions and familiar with the admission and retention requirements. The members of the said committee are present during the admission schedule and even on the school’s orientation. Also, they have a copy of the school handbook and catalog that are properly kept in their offices.
