To the IEMELIF Church and IEMELIF BIBLE COLLEGE (IBC) Community
Praise our God, to Him be all the praise and honor!
Your humble servant has been appointed by our Superintendent General and Bishop Noel M. Abiog as Dean of Academic affairs this year 2023. This is a privileged and unique position in our school - the IBC. This duty is truly delicate and requires carefulness in selecting appropriate curricula that will benefit our students and our educational establishment as a whole. We currently have adjustments underway to establish not only the structure of the courses but also their instructors. We need to raise the level of studies in the courses we have carefully chosen to preserve the rich tradition of our Church, and also the teaching methods and the education of our teachers. These are the goals we want to reach towards a stable IEMELIF BIBLE COLLEGE.
A heavy shoulder in this time is the technological change that was intensified by the previous pandemic in having limited physical socializing that is more necessary for learning whether it is secular or seminary. I believe that one of the main requirements for effective and efficient education is the physical integration of students in the class. On the other hand, I also find that the online class is effective in delivering basic lectures to a student. It is true that in the changing times we need to adapt the educational system and teaching in our beloved school. Whatever changes occur in the theological education systems, let us pray that our school will be able to adapt to these changes. Let us rely on the power of our God whom we believe in and serve.
We will strive to further develop the courses we offer in our school to improve them and be equal to the established seminaries that exist in our country and overseas. We will look at the key areas where our students will be effective in serving our God through our school in the Church we belong to - IEMELIF. These are our prayers.
We at IBC, invite all of you to patronize our own, and enrich our teachings by spreading the goals of our school. Join us in prayer and development of our beloved school!
